Perspective Box is a technology company in Lisbon and London. Since 2013 we have helped organisations plan, choose and run the information systems they depend on. Now we also build our own software, starting with Homebase by Perspective Box.

Consulting for the systems an organisation runs on

For more than a decade our work has been to help organisations make sense of their technology: what they have, what they need, and how to get from one to the other without disrupting the work in between.

  1. Information systems strategy and architecture

    Deciding what to build, buy, keep or retire. Mapping how applications, data and processes fit together and depend on each other, so that every change starts from a clear picture.

  2. Cloud and infrastructure architecture

    Choosing and designing the platforms your systems run on, in the cloud or in your own data centre, so they stay reliable, secure and sensible to pay for.

  3. Service delivery and operations

    Running the projects that put new systems in place, then keeping them working day to day, with clear ownership, support and a careful way of making changes.

  4. Delivery teams across Portugal and the UK

    Putting together and leading the people the work needs, in Portugal and the United Kingdom, working in English or Portuguese.

That work taught us a simple lesson: good software makes complicated things feel ordinary. So we started building our own.

Homebase by Perspective Box brings school timetables, practices, tests, doctor appointments, chores, meals, shopping and household bills into one place every adult can see. Each child gets a private link to their own day. One price for the whole household.

  • Upload the school timetable, check what was read, save. The week repeats from there.

  • More than one home, with costs kept apart and totals combined.
  • Your household data is stored in the EU, in Frankfurt. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Try everything free for 7 days. No card needed. Then Standard at €4 a month or €40 a year per household, VAT included. After 7 days the household pauses until the owner chooses a plan. Nothing is deleted.

How we work

The way we have always worked

Plainly, carefully, and with your information kept where it belongs. The same principles run through our consulting and our own software.

  • Start from the problem

    We begin with what the organisation needs to do, not with a product or a platform. Sometimes the right answer is to keep what already works.

  • Say it in plain words

    Options, costs and risks explained so everyone at the table can follow them and decide.

  • Keep information where it belongs

    Data is shared only with the people and services that need it, and we say clearly where it is stored.

  • Use it before we sell it

    Our own apps run our own work first. They open to others only when they are ready, and we say plainly what is still being built.
